Introduction to Body Balance

The information in this web site is for the serious student. If a body out of balance has been there for some time (if you’re experiencing symptoms, it has), it will take commitment to return to balance and it will take time to heal.
Once balance has been established it will be critical to maintain it. It is imperative that balance not be interrupted if you want to prevent or to recover from poor health. The healing process comes to a halt when balance is disturbed and it improves with each day that balance is restored and maintained. Every time balance is upset, it takes anywhere from three to six days of eating correctly to undue the damage. The more disciplined you are, the quicker your recovery.
You have more power than any doctor, drug or psychiatrist to prevent or to repair poor health. In fact, most of the time, you are the only one who can do it. With a little knowledge and commitment, you can be as healthy as you want to be.
The effects of whatever direction you choose for your life-long health experience are cumulative. If you ignore the body’s needs, the cumulative effects cause deterioration, degeneration and disease. On the other hand, if you chose good nutrition and balance, the cumulative effects heal, restore, and can take you to optimal health and performance.
Too much or too little of our macronutrients (proteins, carbohydrates, fats), along with poor lifestyle habits and poor dietary choices, disturb blood sugar and biochemical balance. To work efficiently your cells must receive a steady supply of high-quality fuel in perfect balance every second of the day, and your lifestyle habits must support the regenerating process.
When we deprive our body of sleep, use drugs, alcohol, caffeine or nicotine, experience unrelenting mental or emotional stress, or exceed our body’s energy potential with excessive exercise, on a chronic basis, we damage cells and regulating organs, exhaust the system that keeps us balanced, and promote disease and prevent recovery.
Constantly consuming foods with improper nutrient balance, leads to nutrient deficiencies and deprives our cells of the fuel they need to function at high efficiency. Then we exhaust the glands and other parts of our system that keep us balanced, and that eventually leads to disease and prevents any recovery.
Balance is delicately maintained by our endocrine system, the glands of the body that produce and balance the chemicals (hormones, neurotransmitters, etc.) that control the way we think, feel and behave. Poor lifestyle choices and poor nutrition weaken and destroy endocrine function.
To restore lost mental, emotional or physical health, we must respect and rebuild the endocrine system.
My mentor said that the human body is a miraculous piece of machinery. It will take years of abuse before it shows wear. It will do everything to keep us alive. But when we punish the body day after day, month after month, and year after year, it reaches a point of exhaustion. If we ignore the warning signs, called symptoms, or, worse yet, mistreat them with therapy addressing the symptom rather than the cause, the situation will continue to deteriorate until we are forced to focus on the cause.

It makes no difference to me what your diagnosis may be. Balance is the key. The information at this site is the foundation for all healing--physical, mental or emotional. No therapy can heal efficiently or effectively without establishing biochemical balance. In fact, some therapies can exacerbate balance and make a situation worse.
In thirty years of experience, I have repeatedly witnessed successful and exciting recoveries with balancing body chemistry, often where conventional treatments and other dietary recommendations have failed. The program is so basic and so simple that it is difficult for people to believe it has credibility. But all it takes is a little knowledge, a few tools, and a commitment to make a difference. My wise mentor said, “Do as I say.” He reminded me that “God helps him who helps himself,” and that the “choice” was mine.

I will share with you the foundation for healing, as it was taught to me—knowledge that has been known and suppressed for decades by all who profit from our ignorance and continued poor health. They fear cures can be fatal—to them.
The time to change the situation is long overdue. You, more than anyone else, have the power to heal yourself. So do it. Share your experience and knowledge with others. As long as we remain ignorant or silent, there will be no cures, only treatments. Medicine and Big Pharma will flourish and we will continue to pay the price with poor performance and productivity, poor health, and deteriorating finances from lost wages and expensive, endless treatments.
